Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is seeking a Senior Interim Leadership Associate to provide pastoral leadership and temporary campus oversight while ensuring ministry continuity across USA campuses.

The role emphasizes spiritual supervision, strategic planning, and collaboration with national leaders. It requires 5+ years of supervisory experience, a bachelor’s degree (graduate degree preferred), and a deep commitment to InterVarsity’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Prior experience with InterVarsity strongly preferred.
• Prior experience at the Divisional Director position or above (or equivalent in outside organizations).
• At least 5 years experience supervising teams, people development, and coaching strongly preferred.
• Strong ministry skills including the ability to communicate spiritual vision, teach spiritual and biblical principles, plan ministry programs, and spiritually disciple, coach and mentor.
• Proven ability to work well with others and the ability to develop a team of campus ministers.

Responsibilities

• Provide interim leadership to ensure continuity of ministry on campuses.
• Lead ministry teams to grow in prayer, program development and staff care.
• Partner with organizational leaders to support national and regional ministry initiatives.
• Coordinate regional strategies for growth and alignment with InterVarsity’s mission.
• Oversee supervision and performance feedback for staff under your assignment.
