InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA in Utah seeks a Campus Ministry Associate for a one- to two-year, part-time training track leading toward full Campus Staff Minister responsibilities. You will join a ministry team, develop spiritual leadership, and help cast vision while engaging with students and faculty on campus.

The role emphasizes pastoral care, teaching Scripture, and developing leadership within campus ministry, with a strong fundraising and relational component.

Qualifications

• Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement; abide by InterVarsity’s Code of Conduct and related policies.
• Exploring calling to InterVarsity and its mission.
• Willing to receive training to become a Campus Staff Minister.
• Ability to contribute to an open and supportive relationship with ministry team members.
• Ministry skills: teaching spiritual and biblical principles, planning ministry programs, and discipling others.

Responsibilities

• Participate and be fully engaged in the ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Teach students to love, study and apply Scripture to their lives.
• Lead ministry to students and faculty on campus.
• Promote the Mission on campus and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Develop and lead chapters with strategic witness on campus.
• Model love for God’s diverse people and grow ministry leadership.
• Encourage prayerful living among students and faculty.
• Engage with supervision from staff ministry director.
