Job summary

OhioHealth seeks an experienced Staff Chaplain to provide pastoral counseling and spiritual support across the care setting. The chaplain will join an interfaith pastoral care team, participate in on-call duties, staff meetings, and meaningful worship experiences.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, ethics consultations, and collaboration with healthcare teams in diverse care settings. A Master’s degree and ACPE credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in theology, divinity, or related field.
• Ordination and endorsement or good standing in faith tradition.
• ACPE clinical pastoral education units (4) or certification-eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as requested for emergent and routine spiritual needs.
• Participate in on-call rotation (may include overnight/weekend shifts).
• Attend patient care conferences and interprofessional meetings; support quality initiatives.
