Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Required).
• Knowledge of pastoral care skills, especially as practiced within the hospital setting and in crisis situations.
• Three years ministry experience.
• Comfortable in providing inclusive ministry in a broadly ecumenical and interfaith setting.

Responsibilities

• 60% Provides ongoing, hands-on ministry to patients, families and staff, including prayer, spiritual care and responding to codes.
• 20% Serves as liaison between local clergy, patients, families and staff, coordinates workshops, and oversees hospital chaplains.
• 10% Shares on-call responsibilities as needed.
• 10% Participates on interdisciplinary teams and hospital committees.
