Job summary

The National Park Service in Oregon seeks a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Program Manager to lead natural and cultural resource stewardship at Lewis and Clark National Historical Park. The role serves as a senior advisor for program development and implementation.

You will coordinate resources management, develop long-range plans, and build partnerships with tribes, agencies, researchers, and land managers to protect resources and integrate park programs.

Qualifications

  • Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship.
  • Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.

Responsibilities

  • Directs an intricate program of resources management activities with sensitivity and complex issues.
  • Plans work, sets priorities, and prepares schedules for completion; assigns work to subordinates.
  • Develops performance standards and rating criteria for applicants and staff.
  • Represents the superintendent with native Americans, agencies, and the public.
  • Develops and implements long-range plans for inventory, evaluation, and interpretation of resources.
