Job summary

National Park Service seeks an Integrated Resources Program Manager at Bryce Canyon National Park to oversee a complex, multi-disciplinary resource management program.

You will supervise a highly specialized staff, manage budgets across accounts, coordinate with tribal and local partners, and prepare compliance documents for park projects. Occasional overnight travel may be required; government housing may be available.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex, multi-disciplinary resource management program.
• Provide technical and substantive direct supervision to a highly specialized staff.
• Responsible for financial management and budget across various accounts and fund sources.
• Coordinate and facilitate consultation with tribal, federal and local partners.
• Prepare compliance documents including environmental assessments for park projects.
• Develop guidelines to deal with complex or unusual issues in natural and cultural resources management.
• Identify research needs, prepare proposals or statements of work, and oversee research projects.
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize scientific information from research; monitor actions and prepare project reports.
