Job summary

The incumbent serves as the Supervisory Interdisciplinary General Engineer and Facilities Manager for the U.S. Coast Guard Community Services Command, supervising engineering and facilities planning personnel and directing activities supporting approximately 65 facilities nationwide, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

You will provide authoritative recommendations to senior leadership on facilities engineering, construction, modernization, safety compliance, and facilities management

Qualifications

• Degree in Professional Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ABET-accredited curriculum or equivalent qualification.
• Professional engineering experience in facilities engineering, construction, or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering and facilities planning personnel.
• Direct engineering, construction, renovation, and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Provide authoritative engineering guidance to senior leadership and contracting personnel.
