Job summary

Avangrid Power, LLC is seeking an Interconnection Project Manager to lead interconnection activities within a defined region, coordinating with Independent System Operators, Transmission Owners, and internal origination and development teams to secure favorable interconnection positions for wind, solar and storage projects.

The role requires 6+ years in generation development or transmission, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in generation development or transmission utility business.
• Experience interfacing with ISOs/TOs in a regional context is preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Manage interconnection positions to support commercial, growth, asset management and policy groups.
• Research and secure interconnection positions for wind, solar and storage in the region.
• Coordinate siting of interconnection and transmission facilities with project delivery and operations.
• Oversee technical screening studies to determine interconnection feasibility.
