Job summary

Copia Power seeks a Manager, Interconnection to lead and manage generation interconnection for solar, storage, and natural gas projects across the U.S. You will coordinate applications, studies, and negotiations, reporting to the Director of Transmission & Interconnection.

The role requires deep FERC knowledge, experience in early-stage interconnection development, and collaboration with legal, finance, and asset management teams. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ professional experience in renewable energy preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint & Excel.
• Experience with project management software.
• Ability to work in Dana Point, CA or Salt Lake City, UT or Phoenix, AZ minimum 3 days/week.
• Travel up to 25% and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and lead the generation interconnection process for solar, energy storage, and natural gas projects.
• Coordinate interconnection study and agreement processes and EPC milestone management.
• Provide responses to internal site selection processes for feasible transmission locations.
• Submit interconnection applications to ISOs/Utilities and track milestones.
• Coordinate with utilities, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders for interconnection approvals.
• Support development and maintenance of company tracking tools and vendor management.
