Job summary

ViaPath seeks a Senior Intelligence Analyst to provide direct support to customer staff in a corrections setting, building actionable intelligence within timeframes. The role is on site in Mechanicsburg, PA, requiring experience with the intelligence lifecycle and data mining tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Criminal Justice, Security & Intelligence, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of analytics aligned with the intelligence cycle or substantial criminal investigations experience.
• Fundamental understanding of intelligence processes in a correctional environment and data sources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to testify in hearings.
• Ability to learn ViaPath and third-party software within six months.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Fluency in English; Spanish desired.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to identify trends within facilities and potential areas of interest.
• Assist investigations using data mining and link analysis tools.
• Use SQL/SSMS and Python for data interaction and analysis.
• Review offender telephone calls and data sources for intelligence.
• Prepare detailed reports and periodic progress updates for supervision.
• Provide guidance and training to facility staff as needed.
• Participate in court or administrative hearings when required.
• Maintain high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
