Job summary

ViaPath is seeking a Criminal Intelligence Analyst to support corrections investigations by developing actionable intelligence for facility staff and authorized outside agencies. The role requires on-site work in Mechanicsburg, PA and a strong ability to analyze data, perform data mining, and communicate findings clearly.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, 2+ years in intelligence analysis, and proficiency with OSINT methods, SSMS, and Python

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security and Intelligence, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of intelligence-cycle analysis or substantial investigative experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; prepared to testify in court.
• Ability to learn ViaPath and third-party software within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to identify trends within the facility and potential areas of interest.
• Support investigations using data mining and link analysis software.
• Utilize SQL/SSMS and Python to interact with data.
• Review offender telephone calls and prepare reports with findings.
• Provide guidance and training to facility staff.
• Participate in court or other administrative hearings.
