Cribl is seeking a Senior Integrations Engineer to build components that connect Cribl's data stream processing with systems like Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, and cloud storage services. This role blends research with development and requires deep knowledge of NodeJS, TypeScript, and distributed systems.

You will work on designing, testing, and maintaining robust code while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience integrating with third party applications, libraries, and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
• Experience with using and developing REST APIs.
• Experience interacting with and building on cloud based platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
• Experience with authorization and authentication standards such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP and SAML is a plus.
• Comfort with significant research and discovery before coding begins.
• Demonstrated ability to build robust systems in the face of uncertainty.
• Experience with Agile processes and rapid iterative development.
• Strong sense of ownership with focus on high quality and high performing deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to explain complex technical topics to both internal and external stakeholders in remote environments.
• Insatiable curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop features that integrate Cribl's data stream processing engine with data systems (e.g., Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage).
• Rapidly develop subject matter expertise in a diverse set of 3rd party technologies by provisioning, building, and configuring systems and accounts for R&D.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust code delivering high-quality outcomes for customers.
• Develop expert knowledge of NodeJS and TypeScript; occasionally work with Node internals.
• Ensure features pass robust test plans and automated/integration tests.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, UX designers, and business teams to translate specs into code.
• Provide feedback on design and code reviews; participate in on-call rotation.
• Contribute to community, documentation, and blogs about products.
