Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Integrations Engineer to build data integration components between Cribl's processing engine and systems like Splunk, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and cloud storage. You will rapidly gain deep knowledge of multiple third‑party technologies to enable R&D and product delivery.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain robust code in Node.js/TypeScript, with occasional exposure to C++. The role includes a weekly on‑call rotation and collaboration across product, UX, and

Qualifications

• Experience integrating with third party applications, libraries, and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Familiarity with authentication standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP, SAML) is a plus.
• Comfort with substantial research and discovery before coding.
• Ability to build robust systems under uncertainty.
• Experience with Agile processes and rapid iteration.

Responsibilities

• Develop features that integrate Cribl's data stream processing engine with data systems like Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, and cloud storage services.
• Rapidly acquire SME in diverse 3rd party technologies by provisioning and configuring systems and accounts for R&D.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, clear code delivering desired outcomes for customers.
• Build expertise in NodeJS and TypeScript, with occasional Node internals.
• Create robust test plans with automated and integration tests.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and business teams to translate specs into code.
• Provide code reviews and feedback within the team.
• Participate in a weekly 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Drive initiatives beyond job scope and evangelize innovations to users.
