Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Integrations Engineer for a fully remote role. You will build components that connect Cribl's data stream processing with systems like Splunk, Kafka, and cloud storage services.

You will work across NodeJS/TypeScript, with occasional C++ work, while collaborating with product, design, and IT teams to deliver robust integrations. You will participate in on-call rotations and contribute to documentation and community posts to share innovations.

Qualifications

• Experience building integrations between systems and data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OS, and distributed systems.
• Experience with REST APIs and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with authentication standards such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP, SAML is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop features that integrate Cribl's data stream processing with third-party systems (Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage).
• Build and configure systems to support R&D efforts; gain subject matter expertise across technologies.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, high-quality code across NodeJS/TypeScript, and occasionally C++.
• Write comprehensive automated and integration tests; ensure features work as intended.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and business teams to implement specs.
