Job summary

Cribl, a B2B SAAS data observability software company, is seeking a Senior Integrations Engineer. This fully remote role builds components to connect Cribl's data stream processing engine with systems like Splunk, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and cloud storage.

You will work with NodeJS and TypeScript (and sometimes C++), design robust tests, and collaborate across product, QA, and UX to deliver high‑quality features. Expect on‑call rotations and ongoing innovation contributions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience integrating with third party applications, libraries, and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OS and distributed systems.
• Experience with REST APIs and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with authentication standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP, SAML).
• Ability to research, design, implement and test complex features.

Responsibilities

• Develop features that integrate Cribl's data stream engine with systems like Splunk, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and cloud storage.
• Acquire SME knowledge of a diverse set of 3rd party technologies to enable R&D.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust code in NodeJS/TypeScript, with occasional C++.
• Ensure features work as expected by robust test plans and integration tests.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, UX designers, and business teams to translate requirements into code.
• Contribute to team on-call rotations and participate in code reviews.
• Advocate Cribl innovation through internal/external blogs and documentation.
