Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to design and deploy advanced test systems for X-BAT components. You will architect test frameworks, automate provisioning, and build scalable infrastructure to accelerate validation in harsh environments.

You will lead reviews, mentor teammates, and collaborate across hardware, software, and systems engineering to ensure reliability and observability of aerospace test solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/CE/EE or related STEM field required.
• 3+ years in software design and test engineering or equivalent with advanced degrees.
• Deep expertise in electrical, mechanical, and software engineering for test infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux, Bash scripting, and networking.
• Ability to design, implement, validate multidisciplinary test systems.
• Proven ownership and delivery of projects in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, validation, and deployment of advanced test systems for X-BAT components.
• Architect test framework software and interfaces for power electronics and communications systems.
• Build scalable test infrastructure and reusable libraries across teams.
• Automate provisioning and configuration management for new test frameworks.
• Develop real-time monitoring and data visualization to support testing.
• Lead design/code reviews and champion testability and reliability.
• Drive cross-functional design reviews and test-for-testability improvements.
• Collaborate with HASS, ESS, and HALT testing to validate performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to Shield AI's system-test expertise.
