Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to drive DevOps tooling, security, and platform scalability across multiple teams in the Richmond area. You will partner with software engineers to ensure seamless operation and security across the data platform, applying automation and modern tooling.

You will work with AWS, container orchestration, and configuration tools, while focusing on availability, governance, and performance to support business needs. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 4 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory).
• At least 2 years of experience with AWS.

Responsibilities

• Work with data/process/data owners and consumers owners to understand desired application capabilities and explain limitations.
• Focus on building and maintaining the platform's operational aspects including remediating vulnerabilities.
• Monitor platform support Slack channels and address customer questions and issues.
• Stay up-to-date with Google Workspace features and best practices; implement updates as needed.
• Improve file storage process, governance, audit, legal & retention practices and standards.
• Lead availability, resilience and scalability of the platform.
• Collaborate with Architecture to align platforms to latest designs.
• Develop and utilize best practices to enhance user experience of the platform.
