Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to plan, implement, and coordinate integrations across systems, delivering scalable and secure architectures. The role involves coding, middleware configuration, and scripting to enable data exchange between platforms.

You will lead complex IT projects, perform analyses, and communicate with clients and vendors while staying current with IT developments.

Qualifications

• Requires four (4) years of college with courses in computer science or related fields.
• Requires five (5) years of professional experience in full-stack development, solution architecture, or related IT field.
• Five (5) years of experience with low/no-code cloud platforms and enterprise middleware integration platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Anypoint, Mulesoft, Boomi).
• Five (5) years of experience developing backend systems and APIs for data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Senior Solution Architect, providing complex professional and advisory IT services.
• Plan, design, and implement integration solution architectures.
• Coordinate and lead enterprise-wide IT projects and analyses.
• Maintain awareness of new IT developments and ensure scalable, secure solutions.
