Job summary

The Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead enterprise integration initiatives for Illinois agencies. You will design, implement, and coordinate complex integration solutions, develop APIs, and guide cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure outcomes.

Qualifications

Requires four-year college degree with CS or related field.
Five years of professional experience in full-stack development or solution architecture.
Experience with low-code/no-code cloud platforms and enterprise middleware.

Responsibilities

Provide highly complex IT services and advisory support.
Lead integration solution architecture planning and implementation.
Coordinate and lead enterprise-wide data exchange projects.
Develop code, configure middleware, and write scripts for data exchange.
Serve as SME and advisor to clients, technicians, and vendors.
