Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking an Integrated Product Support Area Manager (L76) in Sterling Heights, MI. This leadership role guides a team of product support managers and specialists within the CSS Project Office, driving execution excellence and government collaboration.

Requirements include an advanced degree (MBA or related Masters), 10+ years in defense/management, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and 90% onsite presence.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as MBA or Masters in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the defense industry, management, and/or related military service.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• 90% onsite presence.
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in Integrated Logistics Support / Integrated Product Support as a project or program lead.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to the integrated product support team.
• Handle personnel interviewing, hiring, training, development, coaching, and mentoring.
• Represent GDLS leadership in Government meetings and critical events.
• Oversee program performance, including Earned Value & execution excellence.
• Provide technical support to the team through product support project phases.
• Oversee development of major sole source and competitive proposals.
• Manage departmental demand and manpower while ensuring compliance with GDLS policies.
