General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking an Integrated Product Support Area Manager (L76) in Sterling Heights, MI. This leadership role guides a team of product support managers and specialists within the CSS Project Office, driving execution excellence and government collaboration.

Requirements include an advanced degree (MBA or related Masters), 10+ years in defense/management, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and 90% onsite presence.

Integrated Product Support Area Manager (L76)

About the Role:

The Integrated Product Support Area Manager is a leadership position within the Customer Service and Sustainment (CSS) Project Office. This leader will manage a team of integrated product support project managers and support specialists.

Responsibilities:

• Providing leadership and guidance to the integrated product support team
• Personnel interviewing and hiring, training, development, coaching, and mentoring
• Representing GDLS leadership in Government meetings and critical events
• Overseeing program performance, including Earned Value & execution excellence
• Providing technical support to team throughout product support project phases including logistics design influence, logistics product development, and Government test and user evaluations
• Overseeing the development of major sole source and competitive proposals
• Managing departmental demand and manpower
• Ensuring compliance with GDLS policies
• Leading with an A-team mindset, focused on continuous improvement and performance excellence, to help GDLS achieve US Operations targets

Required Education and Experience:

• Advanced degree, such as MBA or Masters in a related field
• 10+ years of experience in the defense industry, management, and/or related military service
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance
• 90% onsite presence
