Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Specialist, Integrated Marketing to join our team remotely, reporting to our Seattle, WA headquarters. This role involves executing all aspects of Holland America’s Alaska Marketing & Sales Events, including managing the seasonal travelling sales program: Onstage Alaska. Responsibilities include overseeing seasonal presenters, facilitating virtual events, coordinating communication with Sales teams, scheduling events, and reporting on success metrics. Additionally, the role supports various events and activations as needed.

Responsibilities

  1. Execute all aspects of Alaska Marketing & Sales Events, including management of the seasonal travelling sales program - Onstage Alaska. Assess effectiveness and ensure performance targets are met. Serve as the primary contact for presenters, exhibitors, host agencies, and Business Development Teams. Produce and maintain show schedules. Develop analytical tools to measure event success.
  2. Maintain all elements of Alaska Marketing & Sales Events presentations and related materials. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the relevance and success of these events.
  3. Facilitate and present all Virtual Onstage Alaska events.
  4. Assist with executing destination events and activations.
  5. Support project management and asset trafficking as needed.
  6. Assist the Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing, in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring all event presenters (approximately 10 FTE seasonal team members). Develop training programs for team members according to program needs and company policies.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Event and Program Management, Community Planning, Sales, or Advertising.
  2. Minimum 2 years experience in consumer event management.
  3. Minimum 2 years cruise/travel industry experience.
  4. 3+ years of consumer event management experience preferred.
  5. 3+ years cruise/travel industry experience preferred.
  6. Innovative thinker with a proven record of project and program success.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  8. Experience in complex event production and managing remote teams.
  9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  10. Knowledge of company products, travel industry, and destinations is preferred.
  11. Strong logistical coordination skills.
  12. Analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
  13. Ability to work effectively under stress with diverse personalities.
  14. Proven motivational skills for remote team members.
  15. Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
