Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Colorado Springs, Colorado seeks an Integrated Systems Technician to plan, direct, and coordinate installation and service of Integrated Systems. You will oversee repair, testing, and completion while ensuring safety on all job sites.

The role requires 1 year of experience installing commercial Integrated Systems, keen attention to detail, and strong communication. A valid driver's license and willingness to participate in on-call rotation are needed.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience installing commercial construction Integrated Systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proficient in following instructions in equipment manuals and converting them into simple steps.
• Able to read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Able to pass background checks and maintain a valid State Driver's License for company vehicle use.
• May require participation in on-call rotation.
• Desirable: experience/training in specialized system(s).

Responsibilities

• Analyze needs and product requirements for installation and/or service.
• Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate product, service, or process performance.
• Operate industry-specific tools to ensure proper installation and/or service.
• Identify and evaluate complex problems, review information, and implement corrective action plans.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities concerned with the installation and service of Integrated Systems.
• Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC.
• Oversee project repair, testing, and completion; manage delays and emergencies at job sites.
