Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Greenville, SC is seeking an Integrated Systems Technician to install and service integrated systems including fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and related infrastructure. You will analyze needs, test installations, and coordinate work with teams on-site to ensure timely completion.

The role requires at least one year of experience in commercial integrated systems, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to read electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience installing commercial construction Integrated Systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proficient in following instructions from manuals and drawings.
• Able to read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, schematics, and specs.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record for vehicle use.
• May require on-call rotation.
• Desirable: experience or training in specialized systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze needs and product requirements for installation and/or service.
• Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate product, service, or process performance.
• Operate industry-specific tools to ensure proper installation and/or service.
• Identify and evaluate complex problems, review information, and implement corrective action plans.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, job site personnel, and vendors.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities concerned with the installation and service of Integrated Systems.
