Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; equivalent work experience considered.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or insurance systems work.
• Proficiency with requirements/documentation and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, DevStride).
• Deep knowledge of insurance functional areas: policy, rating, billing, claims, and print/output.
• Experience with billing rules, plans, and configuration within at least one Policy Admin System.
• Willingness to work full-time, in-office in Covington, OH and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed, testable functional specifications for configuration and customization.
• Translate complex insurance needs into system requirements; own specification writing for initiatives.
• Lead requirements walkthroughs and specification reviews with technical and business stakeholders.
• Independently lead client meetings and requirements sessions.
• Design test scenarios and oversee testing for assigned initiatives.
• Map data flows and identify downstream impacts of changes.
• Write billing and integration specifications and coordinate with technical teams.
• Mentor other Business Analysts and lead training sessions for client personnel.
