Job summary

Moody's Analytics Insurance Commercial Strategy team is seeking a strategic leader to identify growth opportunities across insurance sub-segments and workflows. You will analyze demand, competition, and regulatory trends, and develop data-driven business cases to guide market strategy and enable commercial execution.

You will collaborate with product, GTM, sales and marketing to align initiatives, maintain deep knowledge of Moody's solutions, and contribute to thought leadership content.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategy, product, marketing or market research within Insurance, especially Property and Casualty.
• Understanding of market dynamics, customer personas, and workflows in Insurance, especially P&C.
• Translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and communication with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile environments and managing multiple initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with AI to streamline workflows and improve operations, with awareness of AI risk management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess future growth opportunities across Insurance customer sub-segments and workflows to shape market strategy.
• Analyze demand, competitive landscape, industry and regulatory trends, and emerging technologies affecting customers.
• Develop business cases including TAM, target customers, segmentation, ARR projections, cost estimates, and financial viability via data analyses.
• Translate vision into execution scenarios across growth levers, lines of business, and markets.
• Identify and evaluate strategic partners and investment opportunities, including M&A.
• Maintain understanding of Moody's solutions and their value propositions.
• Collaborate with product, GTM, sales and marketing to align initiatives and support execution.
• Contribute to sales and marketing materials and thought leadership content.
