Job summary

Segal Select Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Consultant, Insurance Broker to join our growing brokerage practice.

You will step into a client service role, building on relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors, delivering full broker services and contributing to revenue growth. You will manage client accounts, secure quotations, review quotes and policies, and coordinate RFIs/RFPs with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of relevant insurance industry experience
• Undergraduate degree required
• Licensure as an insurance professional or ability to obtain license within 60 days
• Expertise in Cyber Liability, Fiduciary Liability, EPLI, D&O, Professional E&O, ERISA Fidelity Bonds
• RPLU and CPCU designations highly valued; AMS360 familiarity preferred
• Understanding of Taft-Hartley, Public Sector and Corporate benefit plans differences a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive team player with strong proofreading and editing skills
• Ability to multi-task with changing priorities and deadlines
• Experience applying generative AI to improve workflows; Copilot proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage book of client business, oversee and negotiate insurance coverage terms and quotes
• Secure carrier quotations and negotiate with underwriters
• Ensure high quality standards across quotes, binders, certificates, policies, audits and endorsements
• Identify loss exposures and recommend coverages; manage binding and billing processes
• Review and execute summaries and proposals; manage renewals and cross-sell opportunities
• Coordinate RFIs/RFPs, ensure accuracy and timely submittals
