Job summary

Aptitude Software Limited is seeking a Principal Sales Engineer - Insurance for its Fynapse GTM in Boston. This senior role requires deep insurance finance domain knowledge and the ability to own the technical and commercial aspects of the largest, most complex insurance opportunities.

You will lead multi-region transformations, shape commercial constructs with the Account Executive, and maintain architectural credibility across the Fynapse platform.

Qualifications

• Direct pre-sales, sales, consulting or delivery experience specifically in insurance (carrier-side or vendor-side).
• Deep, credible knowledge of insurance finance operations—actuarial reporting, claims and reserving, reinsurance accounting, regulatory reporting under IFRS 17, US GAAP.
• Track record of owning the technical side of the largest, most complex enterprise deals—jointly accountable for the commercial outcome.
• Expert‑level financial-transformation and enterprise-architecture knowledge applicable across the world's largest organisations.
• Fluent in MEDDPICC as a qualification and deal-health discipline, with the standing to challenge Sales leadership on it.
• Experience leading or personally authoring complex, regulated RFP responses.

Responsibilities

• Own deal leadership and commercial accountability across large insurance pursuits.
• Drive solution strategy, demonstrations and architecture for multi-region transformations.
• Lead bid and RFP responses with architecture, security and regulatory sections.
• Define value-selling frameworks and multi-year business cases with AE for strategic accounts.
• Partner with global GSIs and insurance-ecosystem partners for co-sell motions.
• Set proactive pre-sales standards and executive-level credibility in insurance deals.
