Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a Tokio Marine Group member, seeks a Sr. Marketing Representative to join the sales team in Naperville/Chicago, IL or Milwaukee/Madison, WI.

The role focuses on qualifying leads and soliciting business through agents, wholesalers, brokers and direct channels. A typical day includes visiting agents quarterly, submitting quotes to Underwriters, generating referrals, and managing a multi-million-dollar book of business while expanding Preferred Agency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Ability to establish and build healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
• Positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced sales environment.
• Ability to obtain P&C license prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Qualify leads and solicit business through agents, wholesalers, brokers and direct.
• Maintain communication and visit Preferred/Firemarked Agents quarterly.
• Submit qualified submissions for processing to Underwriter with quotations.
• Develop referrals from each qualified appointment.
• Maintain New and Renewal book of business over four million dollars.
• Explain features and merits of policies and recommend coverage based on prospect needs.
• Develop new Preferred Agency and firemarked agency relationships.
• Perform in-person cold calls on a weekly basis.
• Solicit business via in-house software with preloaded leads.
• Develop a fixed number of planned and qualified appointments per week.
