Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies is seeking a Sr. Marketing Representative to join our sales team in Naperville/Chicago, IL or Milwaukee/Madison, WI.

You will qualify leads and solicit business through agents, brokers and direct channels, while maintaining strong relationships with Preferred/Firemarked agents. The role emphasizes visiting agents quarterly, submitting complete submissions for quotations, and developing referrals to grow a book of business exceeding four million dollars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to build healthy working relationships with clients, vendors and peers.
• Positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced sales environment.
• Ability to use various resources and product knowledge to achieve sales goals.
• Ability to obtain P&C license prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Qualifies leads and solicits business through agents, wholesalers, brokers and direct.
• Maintains communication and visits Preferred/Firemarked Agents at least quarterly.
• Submits qualified submissions to Underwriter in complete form with a quotation request.
• Develops referrals from each qualified appointment.
• Maintains a book of business in excess of four million dollars.
• Explains policy features and coverage options based on prospect analysis.
• Develops new agency relationships and firemarked agency relationships.
• Performs in-person cold calls weekly.
• Sells via in-house software with preloaded leads.
• Keeps a planned and qualified appointment cadence weekly.
