Job summary

PHLY Insurance Services Inc in the Minneapolis area seeks a Marketing Representative to build Preferred Agency relationships, solicit new business using our in-house leads system, and set a steady flow of appointments. You will conduct weekly in-person cold calls, analyze prospect needs, and tailor policy recommendations.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree with a Property and Casualty license, plus 1 year of commercial insurance sales experience; 2–4 years preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and Property and Casualty license required.
• Minimum of one year of experience selling commercial insurance.
• 2–4 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops new Preferred Agency and firemarked agency relationships.
• Solicits business via in-house software system with preloaded leads.
• Maintains a fixed number of planned and qualified appointments weekly.
• Performs in-person cold calls weekly.
• Explains policy features and recommends coverage based on prospect analysis.
• Develops referrals from qualified appointments.
• Submits submissions to Underwriter with quotations per Code of Business Conduct.
• Maintains quarterly visits with Preferred/Firemarked Agents.
