Qualifications

• You have a J.D.
• 8+ years of experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department, handling insurance litigation, coverage issues, and/or pre-litigation disputes.
• Familiar with personal injury litigation including managing collection, review, and production of documents, preparing witnesses for depositions and/or trial testimony; and complying with third party subpoenas.
• Proven track record of effectively managing and developing teams.
• Able to craft legal solutions in novel ways, provide practical advice and balance risks and business reward.
• Committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment and participating in DEI initiatives in past roles.
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple projects in a fast-moving environment; works well in teams and independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication with the ability to advocate for a position while remaining open-minded.

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of personal injury and interpersonal matters.
• Strategize on scalable processes for efficient handling of personal injury matters.
• Prepare and respond to discovery and dispositive motions.
• Work with outside counsel to ensure effective handling and reporting of ongoing matters.
• Manage all aspects of outside counsel relationships, including litigation strategy, work product, and budgets.
