Job summary

Tailored Management is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney in San Francisco to manage cases from evaluation to resolution. You will lead strategy, research, and advocacy in personal injury and insurance defense, including settlements and trials.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years’ litigation experience, strong writing and negotiation skills, and the ability to build client relationships while working with a collaborative team in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active California license.
• 7+ years of litigation experience in personal injury, insurance defense or civil litigation.
• Strong research, writing, negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently with strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and client-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee litigation matters from evaluation through settlement or trial.
• Develop litigation strategies and conduct legal research.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs and discovery requests.
• Participate in depositions, hearings and mediations as needed.
• Evaluate coverage issues and insurance disputes where applicable.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurers.
• Maintain regular client updates and case progress.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure efficient workflows.
• Support business development and client relationship growth.
