Job summary

Branch is seeking an Insurance Financial Reporting Manager to own statutory financial reporting, from NAIC filings to audits. This senior role has no direct reports and collaborates across Finance, Compliance, Legal and Insurance, working with actuarial and reinsurance to ensure reliable, audit-ready data.

You will lead the end-to-end annual statement process, build reporting for leadership, and contribute to process improvements across finance operations as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, CPA a plus.
• 8+ years in property & casualty insurance finance or accounting with statutory reporting focus.
• Experience owning quarterly and annual statutory filings end-to-end.
• Ability to read Schedule P across years and explain findings.
• Experience leading or coordinating a statutory audit (PBC process).
• Strong knowledge of statutory financial reporting, controls, and insurance accounting.
• Ability to turn financial data into actionable reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements.
• Own the annual statement end-to-end, including schedules.
• Lead the statutory audit process and PBC coordination.
• Analyze month-over-month changes and provide leadership-ready reports.
• Support monthly close and development of audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Office on controls and data availability.
