Job summary

Branch Financial, LLC is seeking an Insurance Financial Reporting Lead to own statutory reporting, including NAIC filings and audits. You’ll collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Insurance, ensuring reliable data and audit-ready processes to support scalable finance operations.

You’ll be responsible for end-to-end annual statements, RBC analyses, and coordination with actuarial and reinsurance teams, driving accuracy and transparency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA a plus.
• 8+ years in property & casualty insurance finance or accounting with statutory reporting.
• Ownership of quarterly and annual statutory statement filings.
• Experience leading or coordinating a statutory audit.
• Strong knowledge of statutory financial reporting, controls, and insurance accounting.

Responsibilities

• Direct the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements, including quarterly and annual NAIC filings, RBC analysis, and NAIC RBC forecasting tools.
• Own the annual statement end to end, including the statement pages and Schedules B, D, F and P, coordinating with accounting, actuarial and reinsurance teams.
• Prepare other statutory returns Branch files beyond the annual statement.
• Lead the annual statutory audit, including owning the PBC list and coordinating information from other departments.
• Analyze month-over-month changes in financial outcomes and provide clear reporting for leadership.
• Participate in the monthly close and document/maintain financial processes.
• Collaborate with Data Office to define controls and data availability for accurate reporting.
• Develop audit-ready documentation for key processes and controls and support internal control testing.
