Job summary

Branch is a remote-first insurer seeking an Insurance Financial Reporting Lead to own statutory reporting, NAIC filings, and the annual statement end-to-end. You’ll collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Legal and Insurance teams to ensure data reliability, audit readiness, and regulatory alignment as Branch scales.

You’ll lead quarterly and annual statement preparation, RBC analysis, and coordination with actuarial and reinsurance teams to drive accurate, transparent reporting and robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA a plus for consideration.
• 8+ years of experience in property & casualty insurance finance or accounting, with statutory reporting as core responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Direct the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements, including quarterly and annual NAIC filings, RBC analysis, and NAIC RBC forecasting tools.
• Own the annual statement end-to-end, coordinating schedules with accounting, actuarial and reinsurance teams.
• Prepare other statutory returns Branch files beyond the annual statement.
• Lead the annual statutory audit, including managing the PBC list and coordinating information from other departments.
• Analyze month-over-month changes in financial outcomes and provide clear reporting to leadership.
• Participate in the monthly close and maintain robust financial processes and controls.
