Zurich Insurance is seeking a Staff Legal Sr. Liability Trial Attorney in Houston with the flexibility of working from home and access to a local office.

The role handles defense of commercial insureds in General Liability matters, from investigation through post-trial activities, with leadership responsibilities for less experienced attorneys. The candidate will manage complex cases, mentor peers, and ensure ethical practice in state and federal courts.

Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor degree required and bar admission in good standing
• 7+ years of litigation experience with insurance defense preferred
• Experience handling moderate to high exposure General Liability matters

Aufgaben

• Represent insureds in all phases of litigation from filing to post-trial activities
• Prepare and try moderate to high exposure General Liability cases
• Conduct pre-trial discovery, hearings and trial
• Mentor junior attorneys and provide training across the organization
