Jobot is seeking a dynamic Insurance Defense Attorney to join our fast-paced team in a hybrid role in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience and be adept at handling depositions, motions, and mediations while managing a heavy caseload.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Proven experience in depositions, motions, and mediation.
• Strong oral and written communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent insurance companies in defense against claims and suits.
• Conduct thorough legal research for case proceedings.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and court hearings.
• Develop and implement strategic defense plans for each case.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
• Provide legal advice regarding potential exposure and risks.
• Stay updated on laws and trends related to insurance defense.
• Manage a heavy caseload while maintaining high-quality work.
• Participate in firm marketing and client development activities.
