Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active California Bar admission, in good standing.
• 6+ years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage.
• Admission to other states (TX, NY, WA, CO) is an asset.
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies.
• Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations.
• Drafting litigation-related documents.
• Experience in depositions, mediations, and related proceedings.
• Familiarity with bad faith claims, CGL, property, E&O, and D&O
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions.
• Provide clear, actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis and other tools.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations and trials.
• Draft interrogatories, document requests and responses.
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Communicate with domestic and international insurers.
• Collaborate with partners and team to advance case objectives.
