Software Placement Group is seeking a senior Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group in Miami. The role involves analyzing policies, drafting opinions, and providing coverage recommendations for domestic and international insurers.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of substantive litigation experience, a Florida Bar in good standing, and a JD from an ABA-accredited school with Law Review honors.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record.
• Law Review and/or Honors required.
• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing.
• 5–7 years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage matters.
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies and providing coverage recommendations.
• Experience drafting litigation-related documents and participating in depositions, mediations, and trials.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions.
• Provide clear coverage recommendations for clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses.
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers.
• Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives.
