Am Law 100 international law firm in Miami is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing insurance coverage litigation practice. The role offers exposure to high-value matters for U.S.

and international insurers and a pathway to develop specialized expertise in coverage analysis and litigation strategy. You will analyze policies, draft opinions, conduct advanced research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis, and participate in depositions and hearings.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar admission.
• 1+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials, including Law Review and/or academic honors.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Interest in developing substantive insurance coverage expertise.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and underlying claims.
• Draft coverage opinions and provide coverage recommendations to insurer clients.
• Conduct sophisticated legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and Nexis.
• Draft interrogatories, document demands, and other discovery materials.
• Review documents and develop files in preparation for litigation.
• Assist with litigation strategy and case development.
• Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Work alongside experienced insurance coverage attorneys on complex matters throughout the United States.
