Job summary

WhiteCap Search is assisting a prestigious national law firm in California seeking a temporary Insurance Coverage Senior Litigation Associate. The role centers on coverage and insurance defense matters, litigation, and arbitration.

As part of a top-tier team, you will conduct legal research, draft memoranda and other litigation documents, prepare and manage cases, and participate in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations, leveraging strong analytical and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the California state bar.
• JD from a top-tier law school with strong credentials.
• 5+ years of litigation, arbitration, and/or insurance/reinsurance experience.
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and court proceedings.
• Strong legal research, writing, communication, analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle insurance coverage and defense matters, including litigation and arbitration.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and other litigation-related documents.
• Prepare and manage cases, offer legal strategies, and participate in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Efficiently manage multiple cases with a keen eye for detail and organizational skills.
