Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Lines underwriting, quality assurance, audit or related insurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, policy language, coverage interpretation, and authority structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA audits, file reviews, and process evaluations per standards.
• Evaluate underwriting decisions, documentation, pricing, referrals, and compliance with guidelines and authority levels.
• Document audit findings, trends, and observations clearly and timely.
• Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to underwriting staff and leadership.
• Support QA calibration efforts to promote consistency in audit evaluations and scoring.
• Analyze audit results to identify recurring quality concerns and escalate risks as needed.
• Maintain audit procedures, documentation standards, and QA reporting tools.
• Participate in process improvements and system development enhancements.
• Assist in training and onboarding related to underwriting quality expectations.
