Job summary

Civicworks seeks an Insurance Analyst III to support Florida regulatory efforts. You will conduct independent research, analyze data, draft documents, and coordinate hearings for regulatory matters within the Office of Insurance Regulation.

The role requires strong communication and confidentiality in a regulatory setting. The incumbent will maintain databases, provide management with recommendations on legislative changes, and contribute to compliance initiatives affecting the insurance

Qualifications

Knowledge of insurance and risk management principles in regulatory environment.
Knowledge of research, investigative, and problem-solving techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, esp. Excel and Word.
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Ability to handle confidential information and maintain objectivity.

Responsibilities

Conduct independent research, analysis, and investigations of insurance industry practices for compliance with Florida Insurance Code.
Draft legal documents and coordinate hearings related to regulatory matters.
Provide recommendations to management on regulatory matters and legislative changes affecting the insurance industry.
Maintain and analyze databases to support regulatory decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to support regulatory processes and compliance.
