Singleton Schreiber, LLP is actively seeking an Insurance and Bad Faith Recovery Attorney to join our team, focusing on clients denied insurance coverage or treated unfairly by insurers. This remote role has a strong preference for candidates based in Southern California, with travel as needed for hearings, depositions, court appearances, and trials.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance bad faith or related fields.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Strong motion-writing and legal research skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance bad faith and coverage dispute cases from inception to resolution.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and draft complex motions, pleadings, discovery, and other substantive legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions of key witnesses, including insurance representatives.
• Advocate for clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues to develop case strategies.
