Job summary

EY invites Senior Consultant candidates to join our Life & Group Insurance transformation teams. You will help define target-state architectures, design solution artifacts, and guide clients through modern platform ecosystems in a global, diverse environment.

Working with EY’s BTG practice, you’ll contribute to cloud-enabled modernization, data and integration strategies, and governance, while advancing your career with broad exposure to insurance value chains and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 6+ years in consulting, architecture, or technology.
• 3+ years in Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits.
• Experience delivering architecture artifacts for large-scale transformations.
• Knowledge of architecture patterns, integration technologies, APIs, middleware, and cloud-native solutions.
• Familiarity with data migration, enterprise system integration, and data platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of solution architectures for Life & Group Insurance transformation initiatives.
• Develop architecture artifacts, solution designs, and technical specifications across policy administration, underwriting, claims, servicing, integrations, data, and reporting.
• Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
• Contribute to target-state architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate platform capabilities and support solution option assessments, including technology recommendations and trade-off analyses.
• Assist with integration architecture efforts, including APIs, middleware, cloud services, and enterprise system connectivity.
• Support data architecture activities, including data migration, reporting, analytics, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Participate in architecture governance processes, design reviews, and compliance with enterprise standards and security requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure solution designs are effectively implemented and architectural standards are maintained.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, cloud capabilities, and AI innovations, while contributing to architecture best practices, accelerators, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
