Job summary

Hyundai Capital America is seeking a Sr. Insurance Accounting Associate to support accounting for the insurance product portfolio and reinsurance activities. You will perform month-end close tasks, prepare journal entries, assist with audits, and drive process improvements across finance teams.

The role requires 4–6 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong US GAAP knowledge. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site and remote days is available.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or related accounting preferred.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and general ledger processes.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close tasks, journal entries, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and program administrators for audits and footnotes.
• Prepare UAT documents and assist in product launches; provide guidance to junior staff.
• Analyze financial results, identify variances, and drive process improvements.
• Assist FP&A and Treasury with cash forecasts and investment analyses.
