Qualifications

• GAAP, statutory, management-based and tax accounting knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, or related field.
• Strong initiative to manage projects independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for business partners.
• Analytical skills to review financial statements and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage quarterly financial statements and reporting processes.
• Prepare or review journal entries and monthly reconciliations.
• Lead development of accounting samples and ERP testing for new offerings or reinsurance transactions.
• Analyze key trends and variances driving financial results.
• Document procedures and ensure accounting accuracy.
• Support auditors and regulatory communications.
• Participate in projects related to financial reporting or financial contracts.
• Identify opportunities for and lead process-improvement initiatives.
