Huntington Bancshares, Inc. seeks an Insurance Account Specialist to support service, retention, and growth of our client portfolio.

The role focuses on processing policy transactions, maintaining client records, and assisting with marketing and documentation in accordance with agency standards. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of commercial insurance industry experience.
• Active Property and Casualty license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of insurance industry trends, carrier changes, coverage updates, and regulatory developments.
• Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external service requests by researching issues, resolving inquiries, and ensuring appropriate follow-through.
• Collaborate with Producers, Account Managers, Account Executives, carriers, and other team members to address client needs and service requests.
• Perform assigned service and policy administration activities in partnership with Account Managers, Account Executives, and Producers, escalating coverage, underwriting, or client concerns as appropriate.
• Process policy transactions including endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, certificates, and related documentation.
• Review endorsements, audits, policy changes, policy documents, and carrier correspondence for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with agency quality standards.
• Support new business and renewal marketing efforts by gathering underwriting information, preparing application materials, and coordinating with clients and carrier partners to obtain required documentation.
• Prepare client summaries, renewal presentations, proposal support materials, and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate and complete client and policy information within agency management systems.
• Document client interactions, policy activity, correspondence, and service actions according to agency standards.
