Job summary

Mindful Support Services is seeking an experienced claim specialist to independently resolve complex insurance balances, denials, and claim-processing issues across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers. The role requires 2+ years of hands-on A/R follow-up and denial management with experience in payer portals, EHR systems, and AdvancedMD.

This full-time, in-office position is based in Goodyear, AZ, with a Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of direct medical insurance A/R follow-up and claim-resolution experience.
• Experience with commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed Medicaid claims.
• Strong written and verbal communication with payers, providers, managers, and internal teams.
• Experience using EHR/practice-management systems, payer portals, clearinghouses, Excel, and Outlook.
• Attention to detail, organization, and documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Independently resolve outstanding insurance A/R and aged claims (120+ days).
• Analyze denial codes, eligibility, and payer requirements to determine next steps.
• Submit and track corrected claims, reconsiderations, and appeals.
• Communicate claim status to providers and internal teams clearly and professionally.
• Post insurance payments and maintain documentation in the EHR (AdvancedMD).
